1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to another or between visits. Local storage (localStorage) serves a similar purpose, but the information is not sent to our servers with each request: it stays in your browser.
Depending on who sets them, they may be:
- First-party: set by FastOfi Corp S.A.S. from fastofi.com.
- Third-party: set by another company whose service we use, such as Google.
Depending on their purpose, this site uses only two types:
- Necessary: without them the site does not work properly or is not secure. They do not require your authorization.
- Measurement: they tell us how many people visit the site and which campaigns bring them. They are only enabled if you accept them.
We do not use behavioral advertising cookies, and we do not sell browsing information.
2. How you decide what to accept
The first time you visit the site, we show you a notice with two equally weighted options: “Necessary only” and “Accept all”. Until you choose, or if you choose “Necessary only”, we do not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. You can change your decision at any time from the section How to change or withdraw your authorization.
3. Necessary cookies and storage
They are always active because they allow the site to work and to be secure:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
fastofi_session |
First-party cookie | Keeps your session while you browse: it remembers which step you are on when requesting the demo or free trial and where your visit came from (campaign or landing page), so the sales team knows how you found us. | Session, up to 120 minutes of inactivity |
XSRF-TOKEN |
First-party cookie | Protects forms against forged requests from other sites. | Same as the session |
fastofi-cookie-consent |
Local storage | Stores your cookie decision so we do not ask you again on every page. | Until you delete it |
website_sofia_chat_state |
Local storage | Keeps your conversation with Sophia in this browser so it is not lost when you change pages. | Until you delete it or restart the conversation |
website_sofia_chat_teaser_hidden |
Local storage | Remembers that you closed the invitation to chat with Sophia. | Until you delete it |
4. Measurement cookies (with your authorization)
If you choose “Accept all”, we load Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. With them we measure, statistically, how many people visit the site, which pages they read, where they come from, and whether a visit ended in a demo request. We use that information to improve the content and decide which channels to invest in.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) | Counts visits and statistically measures how the site is used (page views, time, traffic source). | Up to 2 years |
_gcl_* |
Google Tag Manager / Google Ads (Google LLC) | Measures whether a visit that came from an ad ended in a demo request, so we know which campaigns work. | Up to 90 days |
Google processes this information as our service provider and may store it outside Colombia. You can learn how it does so in its cookie policy and its privacy policy. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Third-party content
-
YouTube videos. We embed them in privacy-enhanced mode (
youtube-nocookie.com): YouTube does not store cookies until you play the video. Once you play it, Google’s policies apply. - Links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn and other sites. These are ordinary links: they do not install anything unless you click them. Once you open them, each platform’s policies apply.
6. Cookies within the FastOfi platform
When you sign in to the platform (your company’s workspace), we use only necessary cookies: the session cookie, the form-protection cookie and, if you choose “Remember me” when signing in, a cookie that keeps your session open on that device. We also store usage preferences in the browser, such as the light or dark theme or the state of the menu. We do not use measurement or advertising cookies within the platform.
7. How to change or withdraw your authorization
Your current decision in this browser: you have not decided yet.
If you withdraw your authorization, we delete the Google Analytics cookies that the site is able to delete and we stop loading measurement. Any scripts already running stop when you reload the page.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser:
If you also block necessary cookies, some parts of the site, such as the forms or the conversation with Sophia, may stop working.
8. Relationship with personal data protection
When the information collected by cookies allows you to be identified, we process it as personal data in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012 (Ley 1581 de 2012), Decree 1074 of 2015 (Decreto 1074 de 2015) and our Personal Data Processing Policy, which sets out your rights and how to exercise them. You can write to us at [email protected].
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever we add, change or remove any cookie or tool. If we introduce a new category that requires your authorization, we will ask you again. The current version and its date always appear at the beginning of this document.
